Company History

While attending the University of Houston in the late 1970's, Anita McCormick combined her love of plants with a need for income and Landscape Art was born. Her emphasis on thoughtful designs and quality installations resulted in a thriving business and loyal customers.

During the 1980's, Anita and Landscape Art became involved with Shell Oil Company; both designing and installing landscaping for their retail sites. That very successful affiliation with Shell led to relationships with an impressive list of corporate customers including Exxon, Chevron and Jack-in-the-Box. During the 1990's, we evolved into a landscape / irrigation construction company.

Over the last thirteen years, we have focused primarily on high-end, architect-supervised, commercial projects. Our work includes award-winning commercial office complexes, neighborhood entries, common areas and parks, playgrounds, spray parks, roof gardens and landscape decorating for professional golf tournaments.
